What's going on?
Most of the videos in the ESA HD Video Player above can be streamed over HTTP through the BitTorrent DNA delivery network. BitTorrent DNA concurrently connects to an origin server or CDN for the content and to the DNA peer network, recombining data from many sources into a single HTTP stream. Playback is more reliable with BitTorrent DNA because content is efficiently delivered from a broad variety of sources. (NOTE: the last video in the playlist is streamed from a Flash Media Server to demonstrate how the player bypasses DNA for RTMP streams).
The status messages you see above the player show if DNA has been detected and is in use (these messages are displayed for demonstration purposes only - they are not part of the v.7 HD Video Player packages). If DNA is not detected, you must install the BitTorrent DNA Software (recommended for everyone who visits this page; you may need to refresh the page after installing DNA for the changes to take effect).

:: NOTE: To enable BitTorrent in our v.7 players simply set the BitTorrent parameter to "true" in the XML or Component Inspector, make sure you have used the "id" and "name" attributes in the scripts used to embed the player in your web page (view source on this page to see an example), and the player will automatically detect and use DNA if the user has installed the plug-in (you will most likely want to create a link on your site to allow your users to install BitTorrent DNA). If a user has not installed the plug-in, or you have not signed up for a DNA account with BitTorrent, the player will stream videos from your origin server (i.e. DNA will not be used).
