This example shows that it is possible to add graphical elements to create a border or skin. This example utilizes a rectangular rotator component (468x60 pixels) with a gradient border and FlashVars are used to pass the path for the XML playlist.
- Using your Flash 8/CS3/CS4 authoring software, open an existing FLA that includes the Banner Rotator component, or install the MXP and add the Banner Rotator component to the stage.
- You can create a simple border using the stage background, or you can import graphics to the stage, or you can use the various tools within Flash to create custom graphical elements.
- Once you are finished modifying the FLA you should save your project, publish or export a network ready SWF, and embed it in your webpge.
