This example shows that it is possible to add graphical elements to create a border or skin. This example utilizes a rectangular rotator component (468x60 pixels) with a gradient border and FlashVars are used to pass the path for the XML playlist.

1. Using your Flash 8/CS3/CS4 authoring software, open an existing FLA that includes the Banner Rotator component, or install the MXP and add the Banner Rotator component to the stage.
   
   
2. You can create a simple border using the stage background, or you can import graphics to the stage, or you can use the various tools within Flash to create custom graphical elements.
   
   
3. Once you are finished modifying the FLA you should save your project, publish or export a network ready SWF, and embed it in your webpge.
