This example shows the Slideshow and Playlist components on the stage with no skinning elements. These components can be installed in Flash 8/CS3/CS4 authoring software using the MXP file that is included when you purchase the Slideshow product. The size of this Slideshow example is 500x300 pixels with no border. The playback parameters in this example are set within the XML file (i.e. not the component inspector). The caption feature is not used in this example, and the XML file is specified in the component inspector.

1. Using your Flash 8/CS3/CS4 authoring software, open an existing FLA that includes the Slideshow and Playlist components, or install the MXP and open a new document, then add the Slideshow and Playlist components to the stage.
   
   
2. You should resize, position, and configure the Slideshow and Playlist components using the component inspector.
   
   
3. You should change the color of the background and resize it to fit all of the objects on the stage.
   
   
4. Once you are finished modifying the FLA you should save your project, publish or export a network ready SWF, and embed it in your webpge.
